Colore can enhance the perception of a visual message. It can enhance communication, adding clarity and impact to a message. This paper discusses the attributes and functions of color, the cognitive use of color and color design guidelines for computer screen. The author states that design guidelines for color are not commandments. However, visuals for instructional purposes should be kept as simple and explicit as possible.
