The main purpose of this study was to investigate participate behaviors, interests and motives on leisure sports of students of Germany Munich University. This study adapted revised "Questionnaire on leisure sport participating motives of university students". 238 subjects were from German Munich University and were tested during 8. 2~8. 15 1996. The results were as followings: A. Particpating behaviors of leisure sports (1) Participation frequency per week As for participating frequency, three times per week was the most (84, 35.4%), and then two times (71, 29.8%), one time (36, 15.1%), seven times (23, 9.7%) and four times , five times, six times, never the least (6, 2.5%). (2) Participating times As for participating times, 60 to 90 minutes was the most (121, 50.9%), and then 30 to 60 minutes (49, 20.6%), 90 to 120 minutes 925, 10.5%), less then 30 minutes (22, 9.2%), more then 120 minutes (15, 6.3%) and never participate the least (6, 2.5%). (3) Participating periods As for participating periods, 18:00 to 21:00 was the most (131, 55.1%), and then 14:00 to 18:00 (66, 27.7%), 8:00 to 12:00 (27, 11.3%), 12:00 to 14:00 (8, 3.4%) and never participate the least (6, 2.5%). B. Participating interests As for participating interests, "high interests" was the most (189, 79.4%), and the "medium interests" (36, 15.1%), and "no interests" the least (13, 5.5%). Besides, there were significant differences between different genders and different age too (P<0.5). C. Participating motives 1. There were no significant differences between different genders. 2. There was significant differences between 20 to 24 and 25 to 29 years old subjects; 20 to 24 and over 30 too (P<0.5) . 3. "High interests" and "medium interests" subjects were significantly Different in participatine motives (P<0.5); "high interest" and "no interests" as well.
