隨著網路之推廣與利用，各項資源經由網路取用與傳遞之情形亦趨盛行。面對此種現象，網路用者不僅要面臨如何找出所需資源的問題外，更進一步需要找到合適且適用的資源才算完成資料的蒐集。然而，評鑑工作是協助網路用者找到適用資源的必要工作與利器之一。雖然圖書館界在評鑑印刷資料已有多年的實務經驗，進而發展出相關的學理，但是評鑑網路資源是否如同一般印刷資料呢？本文試從評鑑原因、相關的研究計畫與群研論壇、評鑑原則與相關之注意事項等方面進行探討，同時比較評鑑印刷資料與網路資源的異同。

　　By the spreading advancement and usage of Internet, there're springing out many different kinds of resources on networks. The network endusers not only face the problem how to find the resources that they want, but also to find the approriate reources for themself. The, evaluation on the networked resources is one of best effective solutions to help user finding the right resource, and this work had been practiced by libraries for many years and got much experience and then fomulated into the relevant foundation. This article is to discuss how to evaluate the networked resources from the following standpoints: the reasons to evaluate, the related research projects, the principles of evaluation ,the skill and knowledge that librarian should be equipped with, and the comparative table of measurement between the printings and networked reources.
