本研之目的在調查我國大學校院圖書館與電算中心兩個單位之新角色。調查對象 為圖書館館長與電算中心主任。採用問卷調查方法並輔以電話訪談與親自訪問等方法。問 卷共寄發40份（20所圖書館與20所電算中心），回收26份（各為13份），回收率為65％。 根據問卷結果分析，分為四個大項：一、圖書館╱電算中心之任務；二、圖書館╱電算中 心目前提供學校教職員生服務項目；三、兩個單位曾進行之交流項目；四、對圖書館與電 算中心組織問題之看法。

　　　　　This research mainly investigates the new role of libraries and computer centers in universities and colleges of Taiwan. A questionnaire is disigned and send to both librarians and computing directors. In order to realize librarians and directors opinions, the interview is used as well. 40 questionnaires are send to librarians and directors. 26 questionnaires are received, the return rate is 65%. According to the results, 4 issues are analyzed, i.e. 1.the role of university libraries/computer centers; 2. university libraries/computer centers provide services to the faculty and staff; 3. the interchange activites between libraries and computer cneter; 4. the opinions to the organization issues between libraries and computer centers.
