　　　　　隨著老年人口增加，需要準備更多專業護理人員從事老人護理，本文探討在老化過程中發生於呼吸系統、心臟血管系統、視覺、和聽覺的生理改變。並且討論這些生理改變所引起的主要健康問題，以及一些相關護理。老化是漸進的與必經的人生過程，老年人可以經由調整生活型態和衛生習慣，以適應伴隨著老化發生的生理改變。若護理人員具備識別老化過程中生理改變的知識，藉著提供個別化的護理措施，將能有效地幫助化老年人適應其生理缺陷。當老年人適應其生理缺陷後，則會改善生活品質，享受生活。

　　　　　With an increasing number of elders in the population, more professional nurses need to be prepared to work with elderly people. This paper offers a brief exploration of the major physiological changes that occur with aging in the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and in vision and hearing, and the related nursing interventions. Although aging is progressive and inescapable, many life - style and health habits can be modified to accommodate the physiological changes that occur. If nurses understand these physiological changes, they can help elderly people adapt to physical deficits by using effective nursing interventions. Finally the patient's adjustment will improve quality of life and will allow him or her to enjoy life again.
