本研究的目的是探討：手術前準備不周全患者中，在「取下異物」項目中1.常發 生遺漏之品項；2. 造成疏失的原因。 樣本是取自某醫學中心外科手術患者及其照顧之護理 人員。研究結果發現：護理人員在手術準備前常易遺漏的物品是患者的義齒、髮飾、手錶等 。 而造成疏失原因為疏忽未複查、未告知患者、及患者遺忘。建議：1. 提早告知患者應注 意的手術前準備；2. 護理人員在患者送去手術前能確實查核；3. 為顧及患者個人隱私及自 尊，而將部份作業規定作彈性修改。

　　　　　The goal of this study is to discuss the topic of removing improper accessories from preoperative patients. Two subjects will be studied: 1.the frequency of forgotten materials, and 2.the reasons for ignoring the rules. This study was performed in a surgical department of a medical center. The results showed that the most common non-removed improper things of pre-operation patients were artificial teeth, hair accessories and watches. The most common cause of non removal is nurses failing to re-check and to educate patients, or the patients did not obey the nurses' orders. There are some methods useful for improving the problem, 1.Educate in pre-operation knowledge earlier with detail and help patients to check, 2.Standardized the recheck procedures while sending patient to the operating room. 3.The routing of pre-operations should be flexible for different operations.
