　　　　　本文所陳述精神分裂症的症狀學內容，是以實證之描述性研究方法所獲得之資料。本文所涵蓋的內容包括精神分裂症診斷準則的症狀、首層症狀、跨文化間症狀出現率比較、多層面精神症狀（廣度性）、症狀於疾病分類學之意義（亞型）、早期病程的病狀與症狀的變化、以及精神分裂症症狀的主觀描述等。本文所陳述精神分裂症之症狀學重點包括跨文化間比較研究的策略、方法與目前之研究現況與結果。精神分裂症正性症狀可分為兩群，其一是妄想╱幻覺症狀群，另一為思考（流程╱型式）障礙。負性症狀可區分為原發性與續發性兩種。有與沒有原發性負性症狀之精神分裂症，可能是兩種不同之疾病類型。本文亦呈現不同文化間精神分裂症症狀之表現除了相似之處外，有不可忽略之差異存在。目前仍未對其造成差異之原因有深入探討。
　　　　　The symptomatology of shcizophrenia presented in this paper illustrated the empirical data which were obtained by using operationalized descriptive study method. The contents of this paper contained the following areas: symptoms items of diagnosic criteria, first rank symptoms, cross-cultural comparison of prevalence rates of symptom items, multidimensional manifestations of symptoms (the width of symptom manifestation), meaning of symptoms in nosological classification, variation of symptom manifestations in the early course of illness, and subjective description of subjective symptoms as experienced by the patient himself or herself. 　　This review paper illustrated the strategy, the method and the current state of research on symptom manifestations related to cross-cultural comparison and nosological classification of schizophrenia. There were significant variations in prevalence rates of symptoms among different cultures. The reasons for the variations were not yet fully studied. The positive symptoms were found to have two clusters: delusion/hallucination and thought process/from disorder. The negative symptoms were separated into primary and secondary ones. The nosological classification of schizophrenia with and without primary negative symptoms tended to be affirmative.
