　　　　　破壞行為對圖書館而言，是形象上的一大損傷，更降低了圖書館既有的服務品 質。本文就圖書館的公共建築、設備上的破壞進行討論，除檢視破壞者的動機、類 型，並以理性選擇理論為基礎，闡述情境預防措施，從而運用環境設計的觀點，提供 圖書館在物理環境、空間形態及社會氣候之設計上作改變，藉以提高防制破壞的效 果。
