     為提升規律運動人口的比率、促進健康、降低疾病的罹患率,有必要重新訂定成 年人的運動處方。成年人應以較低運動強度、較長持續時間或多次間斷時間的方式運動,並 保持一週內更多次、甚至每週裡每天都運動的原則, 以增進心肺適能,並消耗更多的能量, 以減少慢性疾病的發生。為增進肌肉適能,應實施每週至少二天的重量訓練。在增進柔軟度 方面,應運用伸展活動,使各個關節的活動範圍增至最大。養成規律運動的習慣,有賴於認 識運動的好處,並在政府和民間各單位的支持下,努力自我鍛鍊,才能達到目的。
