The purpose of the present study is to research into the usage of prepositions and conjunctions in two of Lu Shiun's anthologies:Cry and Wander. In respect of prepositions, it refers to specifications of place, time, way, cause, purpose, comparison, etc; for example, place-in, to, time-from, at; instrument-by, with; cause and purpose- because, for; comparison-compared with. In respect of conjunctions, it refers to the ties between phrases, clauses, and sentences. The connections between clauses indicate parallel, conditional, purpose, cause and effect, etc.
