本文的目的應屬於對交通行為方法論建議新的方向。 首先，對屬於總體模式之傳統四階段推定法與個體模式做一簡介，並探討其優缺點。 其次，也針對既存的方法與現今交通計畫的諸課題，到底應做如何的對應提出討論。 最後，以超越「總體」對「個體」的方式，指出現存需求預測方法的問題所在，以及解決的方法。

　　　　　The purpose of this paper was to construct a new method for travel behavior. The traditional travel demand model and discrete model were first evaluated. Meanwhile, the advantages and disadvantages of these models were presented. The issues of existing method and present traffic planning were then explored and discussed. After the identification of the problems, answers toward existing demand forecast methods are proposed through employing a disaggregate model.
