This paper attempted to describe the strategies basically involving counseling on dealing with a suicide crisis at a local college. Findings could be concluded as follows: 1. The group discussion of the death in a group counseling helps to stabilize students' emotion after the accident; 2. Group counseling helps students to rethink the meaning and value of life; 3. Students' willing of seeking individual help/counseling can be encouraged through the group counseling; 4. The coherence and friendship among students may be developed through group counseling. Based on these findings, five suggestions were drawn so more appropriate counseling may be offered for similar circumstances. 1. School should inform students the details of the accident as soon as possible in order to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding and emotional agitation; 2. School should work as a cooperative unit to support the group counseling; 3. School should play an active role in offering individual counseling to help student to copy with, then recover from the shock; 4. Various programs of teaching how to handle life crisis need to be planned and given as classes to prevent similar events happening again. 5. It is necessary to follow up the psychological condition of students.
