The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new educational product, LEGO MINDSTORMS and the author's observation of a computer winter camp on LEGO MINDSTORMS which provided delementary and junior high school students a technology-supported constructicist learning environment, The author believes those educators eoncerned wiht (1) the ten basic abilities introduced by the Ist to 9th year curriculum which will be implemented in Taiwan in the year 2001, (2) H. Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences, and (3) the 5 standards of effective pedagogy proposed by the Center for Research on Education, Diversity & Excellence, should find this product and its educational implication very interesting.
