　　　　　依恩．波頓延續了華特．班雅明對建築的洞見，認為不應該將建築視為一系列孤立的、被客觀地觀看的物體，而應把它當作主體所經驗到的城市紋理中不可分離的一部份。於是在這篇文章中，波登以滑板玩家的身體展演及時空認知為例，仔細描繪了他們對當代建築及都市空間所扮演的建制化意識形態再生產的角色所提出的質疑。透過滑板玩家對建築既有意義的創造性破壞，重新恢復了一種摒棄資本主義都市文化形式的新的身體，同時空間性也被再度定義。

　　　　　Following the insight of Water Benjamin, Iain Borden argues that architectures should not be treated as a series of isolated things to be viewed objectively but rather as an integral part of the urban fabric experienced subjectively. Thus, in this paper, Borden illustrates how the skateboarders, by means of body performance, challenge the role of contemporary architecture and urban space as the reproduction of established ideologies. Through the creative destruction of the conventional meanings of architecture, a new body, which eschews capitalist urban cultural form, is recovered, and the spatiality redefined.
