澳大利亞的民族主義發育不健全,始終遭受著種族主義的影響。主流群體錯誤的文化心理是種族主義存在的重要基礎,地緣、經濟、政治因素深化了文化心理的影響。多元文化政策追求平等共存,但忽視族際融合,沒能平復主流群體與少數族裔之間的文化裂隙,澳大利亞民族認同的建構陷入困境。華人在傳承族裔文化傳統的同時,應精確把握各種文化關系,深度參與澳洲民族主義的建構進程。

Since nationalism is not very well developed in Australia,it always suffers from the impact of racism.Misled cultural psychology on the part of the mainstream is an important basis for the existence of Australian racism.What is more,factors such as geography,economy and politics expand the influence of such cultural psychology.The multicultural policy,which has institutional defect in pursuing equality while ignoring fusion,failed to heal rifts between the mainstream and ethnic minorities.The construction of Australian national identity is in a dilemma.While inheriting the culture of their ethnicity,Chinese minorities in Australia should appropriately handle various cultural relationships and actively participate in the construction of their Australian national identity.
