清華簡《良臣》中的"女和",可能就是《世本·作篇》中的"女媧",與大家所熟知的"女媧"是兩個人。"女和"與"女媧"相混,可能是由于"和"、"媧"二字音近的緣故,也可能是因為"女和"本作"女媧",是遠古"女媧"部落的后裔。

This paper proposes that the term ‘Nvhe’ mentioned in the chapter Liangchen in the Tsinghua bamboo slips should be the ‘Nvwa’ in the Chapter Zuopian of Shiben in the transmitted text. Nonetheless, this Nvwa figure was entirely different from the other Nvwa figure that was widely known in later historical mythical literature. Since the pronunciation of ‘he’(和) and ‘wa’(媧) are very close, these two characters might have been used interchangeably in later period. Another possible explanation is that Nvhe was originally written as Nvwa and was a descendant clan of Nvwa tribes.
