As the important location connecting China and Ryukyu in Ming and Qing Dynasties,Fujian’ s folk-customculture exerted great influence on Ryukyu after the frequent contact with each other. The Ghost Festival on July 7thin the lunar calendar in Quanzhoucity of Fujian is the important folk activity, which seems a coincidence with Okinawa in Japan, which has the Obon Festivalto worship their ancestors at the same time. By comparing the differences and similarities between the twofestivals, we can have a better understanding to the spreading and communication between Chinese and Japanese culture, as well as the transformation of Chinese culture in foreign countries, which will improve the understanding and tolerance between the two cultures, and bring benefitsto the promotion of the "One Belt and One Road" strategyproposed bythe Chinese government as well.
