弄清《宋史·忠義傳》的史料來源,是論定其史料價值并據以分析忠義觀念變遷的重要前提。《宋史·忠義傳》入傳人物眾多,類型多樣,時間跨度大等多種因素,綜合決定《宋史·忠義傳》史料來源是多源的。大致可分三類:其一,北宋與南宋初期忠義傳記之史源多為宋《國史》、《實錄》等官修史書。其二,《國史》、《實錄》等官修史書無傳者,特別是宋蒙(元)戰爭中涌現出的忠義之士,則據宋人文集、筆記、方志,兼采《文丞相督府忠義傳》等宋末私人撰著。其三,采自元人撰述的墓銘、碑記、方志等。

Understanding fully the sources of historical data "Zhongyizhuan"in SONGSHI is an important prerequisite for valuing it and analyzing the shifts in idea of loyalism."Zhongyizhuan " in SONGSHI collects a number of figures with various types who lived in different periods,so the writer had to deal with multisource data.Its sources fall into three types:firstly,concerning the figures who lived in Northern Song and early Southern Song Dynasty,the sources of their biographies are mostly from such official history books as GUOSHI and SHILU;secondly,as regards those for whom there are no biographies in the official history books above,especially those loyal warriors who served in the Song-andYuan war,the sources of their biographies came from corpus,notes and local chronicles of Song,and from some of unofficial writings at the end of Song Dynasty,such as WENCHENGXIANG DUFU ZHONGYIZHUAN;thirdly,the sources of some biographies are from the epigraph,inscriptions and local chronicles of Yuan Dynasty.
