軍事占領區制是吐蕃王朝向外擴張過程中形成的一項重要制度,它為吐蕃在與周邊勢力的衝突中取得優勢起到了積極的作用。本文在前人研究基礎上,利用相關史料,針對唐代吐蕃東道節度使建制的幾個問題進行了細部考察,重新考量了東道節度使的設置時間,並指出故洪節度使應屬於吐蕃南道節度使管轄而非東道,以及東道節度使的轄區理應不包括吐蕃北道的範圍,所謂吐蕃"五道節度使"仍由五道構成,不可省之為三道。

The system of occupied areas in the process of Tubo Kingdom ' military development is a kind of many important institutions, it played a positive role in the conflicts between Tubo and adjacent powers. This paper would according to the existing researches to discuss several details in the Eastern Jiedu System of Tubo, to re-consider the time of the Eastern Jiedu System's establishment, and inclines that the governor of Guhong Jiedu should be attached to the Southern Jiedu of Tubo but not the Eastern, as well as the area of the Eastern Jiedu should not contain the area of the Northern Jiedu of Tubo, therefore the so-called ‘Five Jiedu of Broadened Areas in the Tubo ' still should be composed by five not three parts.
