千百年來宗教儀式就是中國文化中不可或缺的一部分,它上承周禮傳統下接世俗媚化,就像一座橋梁連接著人和神、人和自然、人和人的變化,而在這中間起至關作用的則是儀式。以土家族梯瑪儀式為例,試圖從人類學、音樂學等不同的視角闡述梯瑪儀式音樂在土家族文化中的重要性及其文化功能特征。

As an indispensable part of age-old Chinese culture,religious ritual carries the traditions from the Chou Rituals to earthliness and serves as a bridge connecting the change between man and God,between man and nature,and between man and man. In this procedure, ritual plays a crucial role. Taking the Tima ritual of Tujia Minority as an example,this paper,from the perspectives of anthropology and semiotics,elaborates the importance and the symbolic and functional characteristics of Tima ritual music in Tujia Minority culture.
