青少年面臨「自我統合對角色混淆」的發展任務與危機,瞭解及協助其獲得一平衡而和諧的生活適應狀態,是心理學研究領域關切的重大議題。本研究旨在分析及驗證高中職學生生命意義感、正向情緒、健康促進與生活適應之關聯,探究正向情緒及健康促進是否扮演生命意義感與生活適應間之中介變項。本研究採用問卷調查法,預試部分共計取得608份有效問卷,以隨機方式分為二,其中203份供試探性因素分析,另405份供驗證性因素分析,以建構測量工具的信效度。正式施測共計取得1003份有效問卷,據此分析不同背景變項的高中職學生在生命意義感、正向情緒、健康促進及生活適應上的差異,並進一步探究此四個潛在變項的關聯性及建構中介模式。研究工具包含「生命意義感量表」、「正向情緒量表」、「健康促進量表」及「生活適應量表」。本研究採用探索性因素分析、驗證性因素分析、描述統計、單因子多變量變異數分析及結構方程模式分析資料。
  本研究的結論如下:
一、高中職學生的生命意義感、正向情緒、健康促進及生活適應的測量模式契合觀察
資料。
二、高中職學生之生命意義感、正向情緒、健康促進及生活適應之現況屬中上程度。
三、未曾選修生命教育課程及宗教信仰非常虔誠高中職學生有較強的存在意義。
四、宗教信仰非常虔誠高中職學生比普通虔誠者及稍微虔誠者有較強的樂觀與愉悅情緒。
五、女性高中職生比男性有較強的社會支持。
六、宗教信仰非常虔誠的高中職學生比稍微虔誠者有較佳的社會適應。
七、高中職學生的生命意義感與生活適應有直接顯著關聯,此外,生命意義感亦以正向情緒及健康促進為中介,與生活適應有間接顯著關聯。
  最後,本研究根據上述研究結論,提出建議,以供高中職學生、學校及後續研究之參考。

A Study on the Relational Model of Construction and Empirical Verification among the Meaning in Life, Positive Emotions, Health Promotion and Life Adjustment of Senior High and Vocational School Students
Abstract
Adolescents have to face their developmental task and crisis of identity versus role confusion. To understand and help them to have a balanced life adjustment is the most concerned issue in the field of psychological research. The study is aimed to analyze and verify the relational model among the meaning in life, positive emotions, health promotion and life adjustment of senior high and vocational school students. Whether the positive emotions and health promotion are the mediators between the meaning in life and life adjustment are discussed. A questionnaire survey is employed in this study. In order to test the reliability and the validity of the scale, the pretest data from 608 students is randomly split up into two parts. The first part data of 203 was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis (EFA), whereas 405 for confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The data of 1,003 students from different background was analyzed to test the difference in the four latent variables: the meaning in life, positive emotions, health promotion, and life adjustment. The relational model among the four latent variables are discussed. The students completed 4 questionnaires including “The Meaning in Life Scale”, “Positive Emotions Scale”, “Health Promotion Scale”, and “Life Adjustment Scale”. The data was analyzed by EFA, CFA, descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA , and structural equation modeling (SEM).
The major conclusions of the research are as follows:
1. Data-model fitted well in measurement models for the scales of senior high and vocational school students’ meaning in life, positive emotions, health promotion and life adjustment.
2. The current situation of the meaning in life, positive emotions, health promotion and life adjustment of the high school students were above the medium level.
3. Senior high school and vocational school students who either do not take life education course or are piously religious reveal higher degree of meaning of life.
4. Senior high school and vocational school students who are more piously religious show more positive emotions.
5. Females senior high school and vocational students have stronger social support than male ones.
6. Senior high school and vocational school students who are piously religious have better life adjustment than those who are not.
7. For those senior high and vocational school students, there is significantly direct relationship between the meaning in life and life adjustment. Furthermore, their positive emotions and health promotion can be mediators of the meaning in life, which is significantly indirect related to life adjustment.
In conclusion, the study proposed some suggestions for the senior high and vocational school students, schools, and further research.
