In this paper, the author tries to develop some critical arguments on the theoretical interpretations and the perspective construction on the perfect teaching of T'ien-t'ai Buddhism. By distinguishing different interpretations of the related texts and their perspectives, the author generates an interpretative and interactive field in order to let different academic arguments communicate to each other. "From the perspective of the contemplation of the mind on the disputes between the mountain school(山家) and the branch (山外) of the T'ien-t'ai School" as a case study, the author does some investigations on the studies and interpretations about the mountain school and the branch of the T'ien-t'ai School among modern Tien-tai scholars. At the end, the author tries to discuss the historical significances and their impacts generated from these disputes.
