本研究旨在探討台灣高齡者宗教信仰(尤其指宗教愛的感受及行為)與生活滿意度之關聯。資料來源為中央研究院「2010年台灣社會變遷基本調查資料」,我們選取60歲以上高齡者為研究對象,共獲得有效樣本416人。以描述性統計及多元迴歸等統計方式進行分析變項間的關係。本研究結果顯示:(1)在控制了多個背景變項(經濟狀況、人際關係、心理健康、性別、年齡、婚姻狀況)及人際心理變項(人際關係及心理健康)後,宗教愛的感受、宗教行為與生活滿意度有關聯性。(2)宗教愛的感受與教育程度的交互作用在生活滿意度變項有顯著的效果,即低教育者受惠宗教愛較多,高教育程度者則無差別。本研究結果將有助於高齡者之生活滿意度或成功老化領域之探討。
The present study explored how the religious beliefs (feel of love and behavior) related to life satisfaction in the elderly. The Taiwan Social Change Survey dataset was used to analyze these relationship for people age 60 and above (N = 416). The descriptive statistics and multiple regressions were employed in the statistical analysis and we found (a) religious feeling about love and behavior related to life satisfaction, and (b) the interaction effects (religious-feeling x education-level) was also significant on life satisfaction in the study participants. Those with lower education level participants benefits more from religious love than higher educational ones. The results of the present study might be useful to researchers in the fields of life satisfaction or successful aging.
