本文介紹「公民行動影音紀錄資料庫」。「公民行動影音紀錄資料庫」於2007年成立，其目的是要紀錄臺灣被主流媒體所忽略或扭曲的社會行動，使公民團體得以闡述行動理念及對社會的關懷。不僅要呈現出臺灣社會的多元聲音，同時也將影音資料存於資料庫，採CC授權的方式作為大眾理解社會事實的管道與社會運動的主張。

CivilMedia@TW was established in 2007. It is an independent and unique form of media, record-ing social movements in Taiwan through video. We report every social movement to express its val-ues and claims and increase social concern for issues such as human rights, the environment, culture, migrant workers, the media, social welfare, gender, and indigenous people. CivilMedia@TW not only aims to preserve citizens' views on social movements which are ignored by the mass media, but also to focus on reporting every aspect of important social issues. By dedi-cating itself to society, CivilMedia hopes every citizen will feel like taking part in social movements when they watch the videos provided. CivilMedia@TW is an alternative form of media. By reporting every activity and social movement in Taiwan it seeks to raise awareness of all social issues that are to be found in society.
