The Public Library meets the most difficult problem that is the homeless service. In order to achieve this purpose research, this thesis adopts interview method. Using the purposive sampling. The study also deep-interviews five homeless people, three public librarians and five patrons of Wanhua district in Taipei City. The interview spend about 30 min. even more one hour. Findings in this thesis are: 1. Homeless think public libraries bring brand association is quiet, cozy and information needs. 2. Homeless is interacting more with public libraries that have a higher rating performance for public libraries. 3. Librarians and general readers are having stereotype with homeless that is subject to the social value and social impact of image recognition. Those are think about if the public libraries could combine the welfare center that was established homeless dedicated center it would be able to provide job information for the homeless then that could improve their quality of life. According to the findings, the researchers recommend that public libraries should be combined with local resources such as social welfare organizations, temples to provide job opportunities and the value of the homeless. The homeless meet the physical, psychological and information needs. In addition to more outreach services also homeless information such as the homeless navigation, education and training, and the general readers and librarians could change stereotype for the homeless. Wish to improve providing the Public Library as a reference to the special status of the reader homeless services.
