This study aims to explore the factors of affecting group performance by applying Social Cognitive Theory and the Social Network Theory to the software design groups. This study adopts questionnaire survey to investigate digital content-majored related college senior students in Taiwan. Data were collected from 233 college students in Taiwan and were analyzed by AMOS structural equation modeling confirmatory factor analysis and SEM analysis of structural models. The findings of this study reveal that group performance expectations to professional knowledge providing quality, individual performance expectations to social networks, personal performance expectations to group performance expectations, group cognition to social networks, group cognition to group performance expectations, and group efficacy to social networks are significant and all have positive impacts.
