This research focuses on immigrants in Taiwan, particularly the majority of foreign workers that is Indonesian, Filipino and Vietnamese people. The influence or relationship between Taiwan’s economic performance and the number of certain groups of foreigners found to be present. Taiwan’s economic performance represented here in GDP. Findings indicate that Filipino and Indonesian workers have significant positive relationship with GDP. Using Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method this study finds robust results. Long run relationships are confirmed as well as short run relationships. The error correction model (ECM) allowed us to find speed of adjustment within one period. In addition the model withstood all required assumptions and common tests like autocorrelation and heteroskedasticity.
