設計作為一種思考與規劃的過程,其過程包含了構思、計畫、與實踐。對於日益複雜的環境和挑戰,需要借鏡相關學科理論和研究框架,以跨學科的方式解決現代問題;而對於人類行為與社會環境交錯的複雜性,需透過創新思維模式與研究途徑,使解決方案能更貼近問題核心;應用社會科學研究方法於設計研究中,在觀念、實踐與方法上,實際透過參與,可創造有別於傳統思維的合作模式;因此,欲透過設計解決現今複雜之社會議題,運用跨學科研究方法,已成為設計研究與實踐的常態。本研究以醫療場域為田野,醫療服務使用者作為調查對象;而服務使用者主要為慢性病患族群,其特性為需要定時、定期回診及規律服藥,然而針對回診行為不規律的族群,除加重本身病情、產生更多併發症之外,長期下來,亦會造成原有寶貴的醫療資源浪費虛耗,並增加醫護人力負擔。因此,針對特定族群常見的不規律回診行為,作為主要研究目標。本研究透過量化及質性兩種研究工具,規劃符合糖尿病患者需求的服務設計系統。第一階段透過非參與式觀察與質性訪談,初步瞭解研究對象,了解研究對象就醫行為、與周遭環境互動,所蒐集資料作為後續服務設計系統流程改善參考;而在量化研究資料蒐集方法上,採立意抽樣,以問卷調查醫療服務使用者對現有醫療服務之滿意度。以上兩種資料統整後,運用服務設計工具,透過使用者觀點,規劃一創新設計項目;而考量服務使用者屬性與觸及性,故將設計項目鑲嵌於現有醫療服務系統中,將衝擊與影響降至最低,以達最大效益。本研究提出:因應現實社會中的複雜問題,欲使用跨學科研究方法及設計工具提出解決方案,需透過脈絡、系統化探究相關行為與定義問題,方能對人類活動產生正確理解。本研究透過跨學科研究方法,脈絡化分析病患行為,以真實了解使用者需求;透過創新設計項目,可為現有醫療服務內已存在之問題提供解決方案外,亦提供後續建議,供相關研究做為參考。
As a process of thinking and planning, the design process involves conception, planning, and practice. For increasingly complicated environments and challenges, it is necessary to use the relevant discipline theories and research frameworks to solve modern problems in an interdisciplinary manner. In consideration of the complexity of intertwining human behaviors and social environments, it is necessary to make the solutions closer to the core of the problems through innovative thinking patterns and research methods. The application of social science research methods to design research, a cooperation model different from traditional thinking can be created in terms of concepts, practices, and methods through actual participation. Therefore, the use of interdisciplinary research methods to solve current complicated social issues through design has become the norm in design research and practices. This study used the medical field as the focus and medical service users as the subjects. Medical service users are mainly patients with chronic illness who are featured by the need for regular visits and regular medications. However, patients who attend visits irregularly may aggravate their own disease condition and also cause the waste of valuable medical resources.Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate the common irregular visits of a specific population.This study used both quantitative and qualitative research tools to design a service design system that meets the needs of patients with diabetes. At stage 1, this study used non-participant observations and qualitative interviews to preliminarily understand the research subjects, including their medical seeking behaviors and interactions with the surrounding environment. The collected data may serve as reference for the subsequent improvement of service design system procedures. In terms of the data collection methods for quantitative research, this study used purposive sampling and a questionnaire survey to investigate medical service users’ satisfaction with the current medical service. After arranging the abovementioned 2 data , this study used service design tools to plan an innovative design item from the perspective of users. In consideration of the attributes and reachability of service users, the design item is embedded in the existing medical service system to minimize the impact and influence, while achieving the maximum effect.This study suggests that: in order to solve complicated issues in society using interdisciplinary research methods and design tools to propose solutions, there is a need to systematically explore the relevant behaviors and definitions according to context, in order to correctly understand human activities. This study contextually analyzed patient behaviors through interdisciplinary research methods to understand user needs, and as well as provide subsequent suggestions as reference for relevant research.
