The ACG social media site, as an online participatory art exchange platform, has become a popular space for amateur artists to exchange ideas or collections with others. ACG amateur artists use the interactive function of the social media site to exchange information and remote dialogues with others to improve skill learning among amateur artists around the world. However, few studies have confirmed the determinants of why ACG users use social media sites?
Therefore, this study explores the differences between the interactivity design of websites and the interactivity of user-perceived. Recruited participants were asked to browse two ACG portals with different interactive orientations, and to distinguish their utilities or hedonics from the search task, and then to compare their satisfaction of the sites. Subsequent research expanded the acceptance model of technology through users’ perceived interactivity to understand the usage behavior of ACG social media sites. Researchers use users’ perceived interactivity as a pre-variant of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, to explore which factor affects the user's continuance use intention and the willingness to exchange information? Two main investigations put forward a conceptual model for the study of website interactivity perceived. Both surveys applied intentional sampling to recruit university students with experiences in using ACG social media sites and conducted a questionnaire survey. 445 and 367 valid questionnaires were obtained respectively. Research analysis confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) that all research variables have good model fit, reliability, and validity, and then use structural equation model (SEM) to detect the relationships between the variables, and verify whether hypothesizes valid or not?
The major findings concluded that interactivity perceived has a positive impact on user behavior, ultimately leading to continuance use intention and willingness to exchange information. It is strongly recommended that if online social media site designers and marketers want to attract users, they must enhance the social media site interactive features that users can perceive.
