題名:高等教育境外生來臺灣就學因素與學習滿意度分析

本研究旨在探討境外學生在「決定到臺灣就讀高等教育的因素(推力因素和拉力因素)」與「境外生在臺灣就讀高等教育之學習滿意度(學習與生活和行政事務)」之差異情形與關連性。
採用的調查工具為自編「境外學生在臺就學問卷調查」,以隨機抽樣調查,總共回收1,241份有效填答問卷樣本;而後以SPSS統計套裝軟體進行統計分析,進行t檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森相關分析與多元階層迴歸分析。
經資料分析後,歸納以下結論。
一、境外生決定到臺灣就讀高等教育以「拉力因素」為主要因素,「學習環境及多元課程,能提升自我專業能力」、「喜愛臺灣的生活和文化」和「臺灣現行的移民政策鼓勵境外學生來臺」最為吸引。
二、對於「決定到臺灣就讀高等教育因素」達顯著水準的有:來自不同洲別的境外生、就讀不同學制的境外生、不同中文程度的境外生。
三、境外生對於在臺灣就讀高等教育的滿意度上,「學習與生活滿意度」和「行政事務滿意度」兩層面分數相當,呈正向水平,抱持著高度肯定。
四、對於「境外生在臺灣就讀高等教育之學習滿意度」達顯著水準的有:不同性別的境外生、來自不同洲別的境外生、就讀不同學制的境外生、不同中文程度之「讀」、「寫」及整體「中文程度」的境外生。
五、境外生「決定到臺灣就讀高等教育的因素」與「在臺灣就讀高等教育之學習滿意度」呈現正向關係。
六、境外生「決定到臺灣就讀高等教育因素」可顯著聯合預測「在臺灣就讀高等教育的滿意度」。
The purpose of this study is to explore the differences and correlation of “the determining factors for studying higher education in Taiwan (push and pull factors)” and “learning satisfaction of overseas students studying higher education in Taiwan (studying, life, and administrative affairs)” for overseas students.
The investigative tools utilized was a self-compiled questionnaire “Survey for Overseas Students Studying in Taiwan” which was used in random samples ; a total of 1,241 effective surveys were retrieved. Next, statistical analysis was conducted with SPSS statistics software to perform t testing, single factor variance analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple hierarchical regression analysis.
After analysis of all data, the following conclusions were summarized.
1. The primary “pull factors” that are most attractive for overseas students studying higher education in Taiwan are “the learning environment and diverse courses can improve my professional abilities”, “love for life and culture in Taiwan”, and “Taiwan’s current immigration policy encourages overseas students to come here”.
2. The “determining factors for studying higher education in Taiwan” that reached levels of significance are: overseas students from different continents, overseas students studying in different school systems, overseas students with varying proficiency in Chinese.
3. In terms of overseas student’s satisfaction for higher education in Taiwan, both “satisfaction for learning and life” and “satisfaction for administrative affairs” were similar in score, both exhibiting positive levels and a high degree of affirmation.
4. The “learning satisfaction of overseas students studying higher education in Taiwan” that reached levels of significance are: overseas students of different genders, overseas students from different continents, overseas students studying in different school systems, overseas students with varying degrees of “reading”, “writing”, and general “Chinese proficiency”.
5. Overseas student’s “determining factors for studying higher education in Taiwan” and “learning satisfaction of overseas students studying higher education in Taiwan” exhibit a positive correlation.
6. Overseas student’s “determining factors for studying higher education in Taiwan” can be used to joint predict “satisfaction for attending higher education in Taiwan” to a high level of significance.
