Abstract
This thesis aims to explore the application of calligraphy teaching and culture in Chinese language teaching. It is divided into six chapters to present this research. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, "Chinese character principles and calligraphy evolution", "Internalization and externalization of Confucianism and Zen thought in calligraphy art", "calligraphy and contemporary art development", and "calligraphy in the practice of Chinese language teaching" and its review" to elaborate on this topic in four chapters. These four chapters will respectively explore different aspects of calligraphy education in Chinese language teaching, but at the same time they are mutually integrated. First of all, from the second chapter "The Principles of Chinese Characters and the Evolution of Calligraphy", we can summarize the culture and roots of Chinese characters from the evolution and structure of Chinese characters, and the historical background of traditional and simplified characters. After having a conceptual understanding, Then, through the third chapter "The Internalization and Externalization of Confucianism and Zen Thoughts in Calligraphy Art", we will explore the deep artistic spirit and aesthetic thinking in calligraphy culture, so as to explain how Chinese language teaching understands Chinese culture through calligraphy. culture.
