This article is a reflection by the author on the connection between inner thoughts and observers after experiencing the global pandemic and the transformation of the technological era. It explores how the shifting stream of consciousness can bring about a different creative experience and a reevaluation of life experiences. The attempt is made to utilize a complex form of creation, investigating the possibilities of blending glue painting and ink, studying the consciousness through text, gaining cognition and inspiration, and further exploring the relationship between consciousness and creation.
The article is divided into six chapters: Chapter 1 introduces the research motivation and purpose, explains the research methodology, scope, limitations, and provides definitions of terms. Chapter 2 delves into theoretical discussions, using the illusions in consciousness as a starting point to explore the existence of consciousness. It analyzes relevant theories from Eastern and Western philosophies and seeks to reconstruct the artistic domain during the exploration of consciousness existence. Chapter 3, through the aesthetic thinking of consciousness, organizes the aesthetics of consciousness, philosophical thoughts, and related artistic expressions, and further verifies the representational meaning of reality and illusion. Chapter 4 focuses on the author's personal creative thinking and practice, using "virtual-real illusions" as the main research direction. By understanding the true illusion, the author incorporates philosophical thoughts on consciousness into personal creative thinking, shaping the creative trajectory of "virtual-real" and "illusory appearances." Chapter 5 presents the author's creative practice, divided into three parts: "Differences arise Illusions," "Different visions and Knowledge," and "Mindful Vision." These revolve around the analysis of consciousness, with a reflective attitude to analyze and review the artworks. Chapter 6 concludes the research, explaining that in the creative process focusing on "consciousness," through literature review and relevant evidence, it is analyzed that consciousness includes awareness and transcendental awareness. When consciousness removes the influence of transcendental awareness, after sedimentation and purification, it can ultimately reach the realm of awareness. The chapter summarizes and reviews the process, effectiveness, encountered issues of the creative research, and hopes to discover new creative directions in life through the exploration of consciousness.
