成就動機發展理論學者Nicholls認為,個體「目標取向」取決於個體能力的建構或判斷方式,而在成就情境中個體的「能力知覺」乃影響其動機行為的重要因素。然而完整的「能力概念」包括了「難度和努力」、「運氣和技巧」、「努力和能力」概念三個向度,之於兒童三個向度的分化情形,與其能力概念發展的成熟程度息息相關。本文介紹兒童「運氣和技巧概念」四個分化的階段,並探討相關研究之設計與結果,期望有助於了解兒童的認知與行為的發展,且對於兒童的健康情緒與成就行為指導上,提供適切的參考。
