　　人工智慧是研究如何製造出人造的智慧機器會智慧系統，來模擬人類智慧活動的能力，以延伸人類智慧的科學。本文介紹美、日、中（台）三國在手語轉譯系統的研究現況，並討論人工智慧應用於手語轉譯系統所面臨的技術瓶頸，以及將來運用於特殊教育的可能性。
