本文以伺服端程式工具Java Servlet設計製作一套網際網路上的教學管理系統，利用網路上現有的資訊技術，以全球資訊網為教學平臺，增進教學的互動，期能提供個性化的學習環境，改善教學品質。 教學管理系統的設計，在軟體本身的結構，滿足單一程式、統一控管、共用資料庫連結、新功能擴充容易、跨平臺性、安全性等要求。而在平臺的功能上，強調親切簡明的使用者（學生、教師、及書商）界面，資源（全校師生資料、書商資料、電子教材，及線上討論資料）的線上管理、使用者單一入口、使用者全程的存取記錄、網頁讀取控制、整合溝通工具等。

　　　　　This project designs and implements a web-based instruction management program with Java servelt. The web-based teaching system harness the power of information technology to increase interaction in teaching, to promote individualized learning environments, and to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The design of program structure subjects to the following principles: integration to one program, central access control, sharing of connection pool to database, easy to expand and modify, platform independent, and secure. As to the functions of this learning environments, emphasis is put on intuitional usage, friendly user interface, resources online management, user identification control, user access recording, web pages access control, and integration of communication tools.
