Paper-phenolic copper clad laminate is main raw materials of consumer electronics, information and telecommunications devices. To treat the laminate waste is also an important issue. This research work was to develop a separation process to recycle copper from the laminate wastes. According to the experimental results, copper can be separated using screen (30 mesh) and hydraulic classifier. The total copper recovery can be reached up to 99 percent. Therefore, the waste treatment cost would be reduced.
