本研究之目的在比較不同的運動量與身體質量指數對老年男性單核球分泌腫瘤壞 死因子-α和轉型成長因子-β的差異。二十三位老年男性在經過篩選成為本研究的對象後 ,依每週跑步的距離分為高長跑組、低長跑組與控制組;再依身體質量指數分為高身體質量 指數組、中身體質量指數組和低身體質量指數組,於受試者左手橈骨靜脈處抽取血液 150cc 並經單核球培養後,分析腫瘤壞死因子-α和轉型成長因子-β的分泌濃度,以單因子變異 數分析比較三組受試者在依變項上的差異。 所得結果顯示: 1)低長跑組( 3406.65 ± 209.08pg/ml )和高長跑組( 970.88 ± 689.48 pg/ml )( P<0.05 ),其餘各組之間未 達顯著差異; 在轉型成長因子-β的分泌濃度上, 低長跑組( 4067.17 ± 584.38 pg/ml )顯著小於控制組( 5418.98 ± 461.80 pg/ml ),其餘各組之間未達顯著差異。 2)在 身體質量指數上高身體質量指數組( 1059.21 ± 620.11 pg/ml )在腫瘤壞死因子-α的 分泌濃度上顯著小於低身體質量指數組( 2863.41 ± 836.50 pg/ml ), 其餘各組之間未 達顯著差異;不同身體質量指數在轉型成長因子-β的分泌濃度上,各組之間未達顯著差異 ( P>0.05 )。本研究所獲得的結論是適當的運動量及保持較低的身體質量指數對提昇老年 男性抵抗腫瘤細胞的能力有益。

The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of different exercise volume and body mass index on secretion of Tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF- α ) and Transforming growth factor- β (TGF- β ) from monocyte cells in the elderly men. Twenty-three male subject were selected and divided into high exercise volume (HEV), low exercise volume (LEV), and control (C) group according to their running distance; high body mass index (HBMI), middle body mass index (MBMI) and low body mass index (LBMI) group according to their body mass index. Blood sample was taken for measurement of TNF- α and TGF- β secretion from mononuclear cell. One way ANOVA was used to compare the difference among the group. The following results were found: 1) the secretion of TNF- α from monocyte of LEV (3406.65 ± 209.08 pg/ml) and HEV (2473.87 ± 707.18 pg/ml) was significantly higher than C(970.88 ± 689.48 pg/ml) (P<0.05), There was no significant different between LEV and HEV in the secretion of TNF- α. Secretion of TGF- β from monocyte of LEV (4067.17 ± 584.38 pg/ml) was significantly less than C(5418.98 ± 461.80 pg/ml) (P<0.05), there was no significantly different between HEV and C, HEV and LEV in the secretion of TGF- β.2) the secretion of TNF- α from monocyte of HBMI (1059.21 ± 620.11 pg/ml) was significantly less than LBMI (2863.41 ± 836.50 pg/ml) (P<0.05), There was no significantly different between HBMI and MBMI, LBMI and MBMI in the secretion of TNF- α. There was no significantly different among HBMI, MBMI and LBMI in the secretion of TGF- β. In conclusion, moderate exercise volume and low body mass index was advantageous to antitumor function in the elderly men.
