Lactic acid, creatine kinase of blood and urinary protein usually act as indicators of training intensity. Blood urine nitrogen and hemoglobin act as indicators of training load. The training intensity and training load of ball feeding in table tennis are unknown. The purpose of this study was to investigate the biochemical parameters of table tennis players. Subjects were fourteen college students and were trained by ball feeding (600 to 1200 balls/day) for 6 days. A fingertip blood sample was drawn before and after the training. Urine was taken after 15 min of training. The concentrations of hemoglobin, lactic acid, creatine kinase and blood urine nitrogen in blood as well as protein in urine were measured. The results showed that lactic acid and cteatine kinase of blood increased significantly (p<.05) after exercise. The values of lactic acid, creatine kinase and urinary protein changed consistently. The changes of blood urine nitrogen and hemoglobin were not so remarkably. The training intensity and load of this study for table tennis players was moderate and low, respectively.
