It has led worldwide industries to rapid developing in the e era. Building the enterprise information network result in breaking down the traditional organizational hierarchy. For the purpose of keeping breaking down the operation cost, enterprises seek alliances in order to strengthen their competence advantage. In this paper, we compare the effects on two business models—Virtual Organization and Strategic Alliance. By interviewing and conducting questionnaire with the businesses that have been running either one of these two business models, we elaborate on finding the decision criteria for the process of becoming e-Business, particularly for Taiwan's traditional industry.
