During late Chine dynasty and early Republic of China, Yang Shou-ching who was famous for collecting and proofreading of the Chinese antique books found in Japan and proofreading the "Shui Jing Zhu". Though not a well-known artist famous for his calligraphy, Yang Shou-ching devoted himself to collect many different inscription writings and copybooks. He also published them by himself. Yang Shou-ching collected and published many inscription writings and copybooks, not for himself. He wished to protect these culture estates for later generations. When he went to Japan, he also introduced these Chinese treasure to them. They loved these collections very much. These inscription writings and copybooks gave Japanese calligraphy a great influence to Japanese calligraphy. So, Japanese respected Yang Shou-ching very much.
