Scientists have proved that physical activities are the best way for humankind to keep good fitness. Unfortunately, we are living in a hi-tech era. Most of us are enjoying a comfortable life style and forget the advantage of physical activities. In this era, studying in the university is a critical stage fro a student to cultivate good exercise behavior. Furthermore, such behavior lets students be involved in regular exercise over their lifespan. The purpose of this study is to investigate the exercise behavior and physical condition of the students of Tamkang University, in order to evaluate the relationships between the athletic activity types and behavior of the students, and their physical fitness. With a fuller knowledge of the relationship between exercise behavior and health condition of youths, we can design better exercise programs and courses. The conclusions are: 1.Although 78.57% students think themselves to be involved in regular physical activities every week, teachers of physical education still need to enhance the ideal to students: a person needs to spend more time to take part in sports every week. 2.The students who are involved in regular physical activities every week always keep their BMI in standard scores. 3.The students who are involved in physical activities over three times a week were confident that their bodies were in good condition. The division of Physical Education should compile materials concerning correct athletic concepts and therefore achieve a better educational result in regards to healthy athletic concepts and athletic behavior.
