日本人在日常生活中頻繁地使用「雙重否定句」。透過以下五點將本論文之摘要敘述如下： 一、為方便日語學習者學習，筆者將日語之「雙重否定句表現」區分為「構造句型」及「表現句型」。 二、所謂的「否定+否定=肯定」的理論並非全適用於「雙重否定句」。在「構造句型」的範疇裏是沒問題的，然而在「表現句型」中卻不適宜。 三、「雙重否定句」中未必皆含有否定詞義的「ない」。本文中所提出的屬於「負性概念」的辭彙亦可成為「雙重否定句」構句的要素。 四、要特別注意在形態上雖屬於「雙重否定句」然而在意義上卻表示否定涵義的情況。 不可忽略「雙重否定句」的表現裏隱含著日本人獨特的思考原理。必須將觸角深入日本人之心理深層部分，因此所謂的「日本人論」的理論基礎更形重要。何以日語裏「雙重否定句」如此廣泛的使用著？筆者認為應該是和日本人的特殊思考原理有關。
