本文主要論述明代中後期私人修史的五個特點：私人修史之風大盛、當代史寫作成為主流、出現兩大流派，因襲與創新並行、史學思想新舊交替、相互鬥爭。之後簡要論述這一時期私人修史在中國史學史中的地位與影響，進而揭示傳統史學的發展軌跡。

This article mainly discusses the five characters of the personal historical compilation in the midst and later Ming Dynasty and the status as well as the influence of which in the Chinese traditional historiography. The five characters were: the personal historical compilation flourished, the compilation of contemporary history became the main current, two schools of the compilation of history emerged, the phenomena of following old practice and breaking new ground, the new and old historical ideas were challenging each other.
