調查顯示，90％的女性曾經發生痛經，15％因嚴重痛經而影響其工作及上學。傳統中醫強調疾病預防保健觀，對痛經照護有一套具體措施，本文乃探討女性自我照護痛經的方法，從中醫文獻彙整的護理措施，包括日常生活護理、飲食護理、運動方式、情志護理及自我穴位按摩護理等，供護理人員衛教痛經患者之參考。透過護理人員衛教方式增加痛經者知識及自我照顧行為，使痛經症狀獲得改善。

　　　　　Previous studies have indicated that 90% of women suffered from dysmenorrhea and 15% of them were too serious to perform regular activities. Traditional Chinese Medicine has its unique method for managing dysmenorrhea, including adjsutment of daily life, alteration of dietary practice, emphasis on particular exercise, emotional care, and self-acupressure care. This study summarized unique methods of Chinese medicine for managing dysmenorrhea. Health care providers are encouraged to receive continuing education on these methods so that they are able to teach their patients about the alternative ways of relieving the symptoms of dysmenorrhea.
