本文以丕平、平卡德與衛斯特法所代表的《精神現象學》的知識論解讀爲檢視的對象。在簡述三人的解釋之後，本文指出：由於知識論的解讀忽略了黑格爾特殊的真理概念，他們的解讀並不符合黑格爾的文本。事實上，《精神現象學》－以及黑格爾的哲學體系－並不關涉知識論，而是形上學。

This paper examines the epistemological reading of the "Phenomenology of Spirit" represented by R. Pippin, T. Pinkard and K. Westphal. After summarizing their interpretations, it is shown that, be-cause the epistemological reading overlooks Hegel's specific concept of Truth, their reading fails to do justice to Hegel's texts. In fact, "Phenomenology of Spirit"-and Hegel's philosophical system as such-is not concerned with epistemology, but with metaphysics.
