世界各國目前對於公路隧道應否裝裝設自動滅火設備尚無明確定論,然而近年來歐洲許多隧道火災皆導致相關嚴重的人命傷亡與損失,因此能於火災初期控制火勢之自動滅火設備在公路隧道火災安全上其實是扮演著相當重要的角色,本文整理世界各國公路隧道自動滅火設備之裝置情形,並分析自動撒水、細水霧與泡沫自動滅火系統於隧道火災防護上之應用之分析與優缺點。
It is still indeterminate worldwide whether automatic fire suppression systems should be equipped in road tunnels or not. However, recent serious road tunnel fires in Europe showed that an automatic fire suppression system which is able to suppress fire in the initial stage should play a very important role in road tunnel fire safety. In this paper, the installation of automatic fire suppression systems in many countries is collected and demonstrated. Three major fire suppression systems, sprinklers, water mist, and foam system, are analyzed for the application in tunnel fire protection. Also, their advantages and drawbacks are presented.
