由於資訊科技的發達，開啟了教育研究的新紀元。線上研究在母群體、資料的提供與研究的場域上與傳統研究方法有所不同，它是一種利用網路跨疆界的分佈性，來進行科學的探索，如線上實驗研究、訪談、調查、實地觀察與參與觀察等，均利用此網路虛擬世界來作為研究的工具，執行研究。 雖然線上研究已逐步為社會科學研究所採用，但其本身所可能產生的問題，如參與者隱私權、原知識擁有者之同意權以及版權等倫理議題，均是線上研究者所應面對的。本文主要在透過線上研究問題之探究，從研究者對線上研究方法的認知、研究者對研究參與者之責任與義務、建構線上研究問題的原則等三部分來試圖循找其可能的解決途徑，以作為有志於從事線上網路研究者進一步探討之參考。

With the advent of information technology, there comes the new era of educational research. On-line research is different from the traditional research methods in the population, the provision of data, and research areas. It employs Internet to perform the scientific research, such as, on-line experimental research, interviews, surveys, field observations, participant-observations and, etc., which all utilizes the internet virtual reality as the research tool. Although on-line research is gradually adopted by research in the social sciences, researchers should deal with its potential ethical problems, such as the privacy of the participants, the consent of the owners, and copyright. Through the survey of on-line research ethics questions, this paper aims at discovering possible solutions to (1) the recognition of the researcher for on-line research, (2) the responsibility and obligation within the researcher and the research participants, and (3) the constructing of possible solutions further research.
