The purpose of this study was to investigate the heart rate variation on 8 min of interception training (IT) in soccer. Eight 18-to 24-y old elite female soccer players were measured heart are rate (HR) by the Polar Sport Tester. During the 8 min of IT was 171.8±2.3beats/min, 87.7% of maximum HR (196.0±2.9 beats/min), and the final 5 min was over 90% of maximum HR. Additionally, after 1-2 min was significantly (p<.05) higher than the 0-1 min HR (130.2±10.2 beats/min), the HR of 6-7 (183.0±6.5 beats/min) and 7-8 min (184.4±6.8 beats/min) were significantly (p<.05) higher than the 1-2 min HR (166.8±8.6 beats/min). In conclusion, the HR variation on 8 min of IT in elite female soccer player can be sued as.
