本文的目的乃是介紹某航太公司利用六標準差的界定 (Define)、衡量 (Measure)、分析 (Analyze)、改善 (Improve)、控制 (Control) 等步驟來改善封膠製程。首先利用柏拉圖分析找出重點改善項目,再以製程分析 (Process Mapping) 將製程內的浪費及無附加價值的製程予以消除,並利用魚骨圖將主要因找出,再以腦力激盪術尋求改善對策並據以改善,至終,製程內的問題終獲解決,結果顯示六標準差手法確實是降低製程時間與人工成本的有效工具。
The purpose of this paper is to improve the conformal coating process by adopting Six Sigma DMAIC (define-measure-analyze-improve-control) approach in an aerospace company. First, Pareto chart is employed to identify the critical items to be improved, and then process mapping is performed to eliminate wastes exist within processes and non-value processes. Next, the cause-effect diagram is investigated to reveal the major reasons contributing to process deficiency. In addition, brain storming is conducted to decide the appropriate improvement strategy. Finally, the conformal coating process is improved by eliminating process problems. Results showed that adopting Six Sigma is an effective approach in conformal coating process through which reductions in processing time and labor cost are obtained.
