自主活化(voluntary activation)程度的獲得可以得知中樞神經驅動肌肉收縮的能力。一般而言,自主活化高表示中樞驅動的程度高,在用力狀態下被電刺激誘發出的剩餘力量則小;反之,中樞驅動程度低時,被誘發出的力量則大。自主活化的評估是利用超強電刺激進行誘發,利用所謂的電刺激誘發技術(Twitch Interpolated Technique, I.T.T.)來進行檢測,以測出人體所保留的力量程度。自主活化程度可能受到許多重要因素影響,包含訓練、傷害與肌肉疲勞等,本篇文章即針對自主活化程度的測試技術及其影響的因素做一整理,以提供未來相關研究參考。
